HAPPY 250TH, AMERICA

 

Two hundred and fifty years ago, America was born from one simple idea: no man was above the people.

 

Not a king. Not a crown. Not a government drunk on its own power.

And yet here we are.

 

A country built to resist tyranny now watches men wrap themselves in the flag while picking its pockets. They call it patriotism while selling access, rewarding loyalty over truth, and turning public service into a private club for billionaires, cronies, cowards, and cabinet members who confuse obedience with honor.

 

Donald Trump talks about making America great again, but he is a joke—the last man on earth to lead that mission. John F. Kennedy was a real man who understood the weight of the office and the burden of public service. Trump understands only the grift.

 

Greatness is not revenge.

Greatness is not corruption with a red hat.

Greatness is not attacking the weak, protecting the connected, and pretending every courtroom, every witness, every fact, and every consequence is part of some giant conspiracy.

 

Under Trump, the highest office in the land looked less like public service and more like a lucrative storefront.

 

A presidency became a corporate strip mine—extracting public attention, public trust, and public money while the brand kept selling itself as patriotism.

Patriotism was not treated like a duty.

 

It was treated like merchandise.

A monetized identity. A campaign hat. A hotel booking. A loyalty test. A flag wrapped around the same old grift.

 

He treated the Constitution like a liability waiver and the Treasury like an open register. Every appointment seemed designed to reward obedience over competence, loyalty over truth, and silence over honor.

 

Greatness does not look like a leader profiting while foreign dignitaries and political allies orbit his properties.

 

That is not patriotism.

That is a protection racket wearing a lapel pin.

 

And the grift did not stop with him.

It bled down the bloodline.

 

Greatness is not a son-in-law walking out of the White House orbit and into a multibillion-dollar Saudi-backed investment deal.

 

Greatness is not watching family members play shell games with power, privilege, and accountability while ordinary Americans get crushed for far less.

 

Greatness is not luxury, influence, tax breaks, private jets, sweetheart access, and dynastic wealth dressed up as love of country.

 

It is not rigging the system so billionaires get loopholes while working people get speeches.

America was not built for one man’s ego.

 

It was built for accountability.

It was built so power would fear the people, not the other way around.

 

He did not drain the swamp.

He franchised it.

He did not make America great again.

He made the grift great again.

 

So happy 250th, America.

 

The fireworks are pretty.

The speeches are cheap.

The corruption is real.

 

And Maxx Wolf has a message for every crooked politician, every bought judge, every badge, every suit, and every coward hiding behind the flag:
