Christian Lepe lit the fuse. Sims and Fierro thought they could scare the Wolf.

Sims and Fierro: Freedom of Speech, Dumbass!

Christian Lepe, Florence Colorado prison warden , sits at the center of this Gestapo Tactics story because Maxx Wolf says the SIS retaliation campaign began after Lepe discovered Maxx’s prison blog and panicked. Fierro and Sims were the muscle, the errand boys, the two government dumbasses sent into the room to scare the Wolf. But Lepe was the one whose thin skin lit the fuse.

It would be two weeks before Maxx met Fierro and Sims SIS. Maxx Wolf had spent that time in the Florence, Colorado prison SHU before they called for him. Two weeks in the box made of steel, concrete, stale air, and silence, the kind of silence men use when they are too weak to throw a punch in daylight, so they hide behind procedure and call it policy.

No sunlight, no clock, no mercy. Just walls close enough to breathe on him and a system stupid enough to think isolation could make a wolf forget his teeth.

Then they came for him.

“Wolf. SIS wants you.”

They put him in the chair like they were staging a confession. Same cheap room. Same dead air. Same government-gray walls. Same little table where frightened men pretended they were hunters.

Sims and Fierro walked in together. SIS. Two institutional parasites with badges, files, and the kind of confidence that only exists when the cameras are off.

Fierro started the talking.

“Tell us about your website.”

Maxx looked at him. “What about it?”

“We want to know everything.”

Maxx smiled. “Fuck you. How’s that?”

Fierro’s face tightened.

Maxx leaned back in the chair. “Freedom of speech, dumbass. I can say anything the fuck I want.”

Sims opened a file, trying to look like the smart one. It didn’t take.

“Mr. Wolf,” Sims said, “we’re Sims and Fierro — SIS. We’ve read your files, we’ve read your manifesto. And yes, Mr. Wolf — you called me a dumbass.”

Sims’ eyes narrowed, his voice cracking like a cheap whip. “We know all about the mole, Mr. Wolf. Make things easier on yourself and tell us what we need to know before we have to make things… uncomfortable.”

He leaned in, breath sour with fear and rage. “How did you come by our first names? Our backgrounds? That information was classified. Who else was involved, Mr. Wolf? Tell us exactly how you got information in and out of the camp, and onto the world wide web. Are you a sovereign Wolf citizen? Is your code name Mr. Gums?”

For a moment, the room went still. Not quiet. Still. There is a difference. Quiet is absence. Stillness is when everyone in the room knows something is about to bleed.

Maxx looked at Sims, then at Fierro, then back to Sims. He smiled, slow and cold.

“Yes, yes, and yes. Everyone at the camp had cellphones, dumbasses — and no matter what you do, that will never change.”

Fierro shifted. Sims blinked.

Maxx leaned forward, voice dropping low. “All the information I have on the lot of you came from my dick, (PI) my dick is good. But know this — this is only the beginning. Brace yourselves, because the time has come to tell the world the truth about every last one of you.”

Sims tried to hold his face together. He failed.

That was the thing about men like Sims. They were brave when the door locked from their side. Brave with badges. Brave with files. Brave with cameras off and witnesses gone. But the second their names entered the light, they began to rot in real time.

Maxx’s eyes burned with defiance. “You buried me in the SHU for two weeks and thought I’d come out begging. That was your first mistake. Your second mistake was thinking I didn’t know who you were. And your third mistake was walking into this room believing you were still in control.”

The air changed. Sims’ jaw tightened. Fierro stopped pretending to be furniture.

Maxx smiled again. Not friendly. Not sane. Not broken.

“So do your worst, dumbasses — because I will do mine. And we’ll let the fates decide who walks away.”

To be continued...

EDITOR’S NOTE:

This series is based on true events and direct personal testimony involving SIS interrogation tactics inside the prison system. Certain moments have been written with satire, dark humor, and dramatic styling because, frankly, some of what happened was so absurd it would be unbelievable if it were not true.

The humor does not change the substance of the account. At its core, this is a documented story about intimidation, retaliation, abuse of power, and the attempt to silence protected speech.

Usually, stories like this say names have been changed to protect the innocent.

Not here.

Names have not been changed because this account is not written to protect the guilty.

Names are included because accountability dies in the dark. This account is published so these actions are not buried behind titles, badges, locked doors, or government paperwork.

This article reflects Maxx Wolf’s account, memory, interpretation, commentary, and experience.

This article is not a court finding, formal legal adjudication, or official government conclusion.

This site does not encourage anyone to contact, threaten, harass, stalk, intimidate, target, or confront any person mentioned.

This site does not publish private home addresses, private phone numbers, private family contact information, or instructions for anyone to confront any person mentioned.

The record is the record.

The commentary is Maxx Wolf’s.

The public can decide.
