AND NO JUSTICE FOR ALL
The Airport Pickup, the Spy Watch, the Fake ID, and the First Corporate Banking Setup
A BAD FEELING BEFORE THE FIRST MEETING
According to Maxx Wolf, he did not trust Brian Cooper Dill before he ever met him.
That instinct, Wolf says, was the reason he wore a concealed black chronograph spy watch during their first meeting.
Looking back, Wolf believes that quiet voice in the back of his mind was trying to warn him. He ignored it. Years later, he would conclude that he should have trusted his original intuition.
THE AIRPORT PICKUP
At the time, Wolf had been working in Dallas for an oil company. After flying into Los Angeles, he was picked up at the airport by his longtime friend Dave, a man he had known for approximately thirty years and who was also the godfather of Wolf’s daughter, London.
Dave was taking him to meet Brian Cooper Dill.
The three men met at a Starbucks before climbing into Dave’s vehicle.
Dave drove. Brian Cooper Dill sat in the front passenger seat.
Maxx Wolf sat quietly in the back.
THE SPY WATCH WAS RECORDING
According to Wolf, the concealed spy watch was already recording.
During the drive, Wolf asked Brian what business opportunity they were actually pursuing. Dave had previously mentioned private jets, but Brian explained that the aviation project was not yet ready.
What was ready, Brian said, was banking.
According to Wolf’s recording, Dave asked:
“When can we meet with the personal banker?”
Brian replied:
“What you need to do is meet with a personal banker. I have an office, and you do the transaction in there, not in the bank.”
Wolf then asked:
“So basically, open the corporate account with a private banker, and they come to you?”
Brian confirmed that was the plan.
THE PERSONAL BANKER SETUP
Brian explained that the banker would meet them inside a private office or boardroom rather than inside a retail bank branch.
The arrangement, as Brian described it, would reduce the pressure and scrutiny of sitting inside the institution itself.
Brian also stated that he already possessed the necessary corporate documents.
The plan was straightforward: establish a corporate account, connect it to a merchant account, and begin processing additional business transactions through the company.
There was only one remaining obstacle.
Identification.
THE FAKE DRIVER’S LICENSE
Brian looked at Wolf and said:
“I’m going to have to make you a phony driver’s license. Let me take your picture.”
The men stopped beside a plain white exterior wall in direct sunlight.
Wolf says Brian photographed him for what Brian described as a fake driver’s license and supporting identification cards.
THE ALVARADO STREET PICKUP
According to Wolf, Brian explained that the completed driver’s license would later be collected from his regular contact on Alvarado Street in downtown Los Angeles.
The photograph had been taken.
The documents were supposedly being prepared.
The banker was waiting.
THE FIRST CORPORATE ACCOUNT
The following day, Brian arranged the meeting.
Wolf went to the office.
The private banker arrived.
The first corporate account was opened.
Looking back, Wolf says that meeting marked the true beginning of everything that followed.
THE WARNING MAXX WOLF IGNORED
The concealed spy watch had preserved the conversation long before anyone involved could have anticipated an FBI investigation, an informant agreement, or later disputes over who first proposed what.
Wolf says the recording also reinforced the feeling he had from the very beginning: something about Brian Cooper Dill was not right.
That instinct was why Wolf wore the watch.
Even after the conversation, the distrust remained. But instead of following his intuition and walking away, Wolf continued.
Looking back now, he knows that was the mistake.
The warning had been there from the start.
He simply failed to trust his own instincts.
And Maxx Wolf is still saying what he wants.
There is not a fucking thing anyone can do about lawful publication, public record, satire, commentary, and the First Amendment with teeth.
